Speed is the word for Guinness Rishi as he powers his way through a giant 490 gram bottle of ketchup in just 39 seconds.

Guinness believes he holds the fastest time for drinking the world’s favourite condiment, which he sups through a straw.

Dieting elephants lose 11,314 pounds

They could be the next stars of “The Biggest Loser.” Seven elephants at the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park have lost a combined total of 11,314 pounds ever since zookeepers enforced a nutrition and exercise regiment for them in 2000.

The rotund captive elephants that zoo visitors are familiar with are mostly overweight compared to those in the wild.

To get the elephants back in shape, zookeepers introduced a diet high in hay and stopped feeding them treats such as bread, corn and jelly beans.

Twins born different days, months and years

They’re twins, all right, despite what their spanking new birth certificates say. Tariq Griffin entered the world at 12:17 a.m. on New Year’s Day at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, Mich. Twin brother Tarrance was born a bit earlier – 26 minutes to be exact.

That means the boys have the unique distinction of having been born on different days, months and years.

A man in Washington state who reportedly told police he was trying to deter a friend from driving drunk by blasting the friend’s windshield with paintballs wound up in jail.

Kennewick, Wash., police Sgt. Ken Lattin calls it a “very creative” way to prevent someone from drunken driving – but a designated driver would have been safer.
