Frog crossing?
An animal protection group is urging French authorities to build special crossings to save millions of frogs and toads from being squashed on the country’s roads (on their way to their wetland breeding grounds.)
Their solution? Driver education, basically don’t run over frogs, toads and newts, and the construction of frog tunnels under the road. No word on who is going to teach the frogs, toads and newts to use the tunnels.
