Shut the door! Lock and latch it! Here comes Mom with a brand new hatchet!

A Danish woman whose teenage son locked himself into her car and refused to get out borrowed a policeman’s axe and smashed open a window to make the boy change his mind, police said on Monday.
A spokesman for the police in Flensburg near the Danish border said the 15-year-old locked the doors after his mother left the car to go shopping and refused to come out.

“She called police asking for help,” the spokesman said, but the youth still refused to budge when an officer arrived. “So she borrowed his axe and smashed open a window. It was a rather unusual way to resolve the matter.”

It was not clear what the boy wanted.

It’s a lot easier to figure out what he was going to get.

Even the kitchen sink…

A Yorkshireman returned from travelling the world to find burglars had stolen his entire kitchen. James Elstub, from Dewsbury, returned from holidaying in Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and the USA to find his kitchen had been stripped.

Thieves broke in and took all the appliances and fittings in the room, Halifax Home Insurance said.

Mr Elstub said: “I can’t believe I returned home from my holiday to find burglars had [even] stolen my kitchen sink.

“The criminals must have been bold, as it would have taken considerable time to strip the kitchen.”

Three thousand pounds to put it right.

And you thought Kung Fu was just for fighting

A Chinese man says he used kung fu to pull a van more than 40 feet with his nose. Fu Yingjie pulled the van, weighing more than 1.5 tonnes with the driver, for 13.3 metres.

He told Xinhua News that he used his right nostril to suck one end of a thin line into his stomach.

“Once the line reached my stomach, I used kung fu to lock it with the stomach opening,” he said. The other end was tied to the van which Fu then pulled across Peoples Square in Shishi city, Fujian province.

His family has been practising Kung Fu for 14 generations, and is well-known locally for such stunts.
