Fight Against Maturity

The ever vigilant eye of the law

A pensioner has been fined for dropping someone else’s litter.

Bridget Molyneux thought she was in luck when she spotted what looked like a £5 note lying on the ground. She bent down to pick it up but, realising it was actually a till receipt, the grandmother dropped it again.

However, a council street warden saw her do so – and gave her a £75 fine for littering, reports the Daily Mail.

Kinda makes you feel safe, doesn’t it, what with the law so on its’ toes.
