A moooooving experience (or) The case of the flying cow

Cow

A car driver in China was shocked when a cow suddenly dropped from the sky and landed on his bonnet. The heavy black-and-white cow smashed a deep dent into the front of the vehicle in Changchun, reports the Northeastern News Network.

A resident who saw the accident said he saw the cow jump off the lorry driving ahead of the car. The lorry did not stop but sped off.

Police caught up with the lorry driver who is now in custody. They believe he is a cow thief who had stolen three cows from a local farmer and was transporting them to a market.

Fire powered “Dutch Tub”

Fire powered bath tub

Fire powered bath tub

How you get all that water to the mountains, or prarie, or where ever, escapes me but after you get the tub filled just light up the fire, wait for the water to warm and there you are, wherever you are.

Maybe $3.80 isn’t so bad after all…

The Local

Saarbrücken, in the German state of Saarland, is the country’s most expensive city to tank up – drivers there pay €1.514 per litre ($8.48 per gallon) of petrol. Mühlheim has the country’s most affordable gasoline at €1.419 per litre ($7.94) per gallon. Meanwhile the average lies at …$8.26 per gallon of petrol.

………………………………….

Now before you point out to me how cheap gasoline/petrol is in the US, consider this: The good folk of Saarland are just getting taken to the cleaners worse than we are. Both prices are plain and simple robbery.
