    Although we are down to only around 8-12 inches on the ground right now! Better than the 4′+ we had ;)

  2. We actually had a very mild Winter here in the W&WW (wild and wooly west) thanks to El Nino. We are right up against the eastern base of the Cascades at about 600 feet and the mountains protect us a lot in an El Nino year.

  3. Spring is here, between Portland and Salem. The plum trees at work are white with flowers (have been for at least a week or two) as well as other small plants and flowers.
