Chupacabra? So yesterday. The Bhootbilli is where it’s at now.

There’s been a rash of sightings of a creature known as the Bhootbilli, or “ghost cat” in a neighborhood near Pune, India. This large feline cryptid has consumed 45 pigeons (and one goat) belonging to one unlucky resident.

F4U pulled from Lake Michigan

An F4U, lost in a training accident in Lake Michigan in World War 2, has been pulled from over two hundred feet of water and is remarkably intact after 70 years in the water. Lake Michigan was used for training pilots to land on aircraft carriers and accidents were common. There are still around 80 aircraft on the bottom of the lake.

30 tubes of toothpaste? In her underwear?

(A) shoplifter (in Prague) tried to make a clean getaway after stuffing 30 tubes of toothpaste down her knickers in a bizarre heist.

The crook attempted to sneak out of the shop while her male colleague distracted shop assistant Jana Brezikova, who gave chase.

You go, John Scott! L.A.’s Oldest Graffiti Artist nabbed

John Scott, 73, has been arrested in Los Angeles and charged with felony vandalism for sticking bills on any flat surface he could find that sent people to his web site where he sold  T-shirts bearing the logo “Who is John Scott?” This makes John the oldest person by far ever charged with street vandalism in LA. His nearest competitor was 36.

Hey! A guy’s gotta make a living.
