Fat-bottomed smuggler seized…at (where else?) El Prat airport

Customs officers [in Spain] arrested a smuggler with six and a half kilos of cocaine hidden in his shorts after becoming suspicious of his big bum.

Officials at El Prat de Llobregat airport, Barcelona, forced him to strip and found specially made pants with dozens of tiny pockets sewn in to hold the drugs. The green neoprene pants contained more than 160 pockets for canisters of cocaine.

A stunned supermarket saleswoman stumbled upon 28 kilograms (60 pounds) of cocaine worth over a million … while unpacking boxes of bananas in southern Germany, police said on Friday.

The crates of fruit, flown in from Colombia and imported into Germany via the Belgian port of Antwerp, were probably mixed up when they were being loaded onto the delivery trucks, Ludwig Waldinger from the Bavarian police told AFP.

Crime tip: When transporting cocaine be sure your truck has license plates

Three California men accused of dealing and possession of cocaine were held today in the Hendricks County [Indiana]  Jail after their arrest Sunday on I-70. Hendricks County sheriff’s deputies arrested the men shortly after midnight Sunday just east of the Ind. 39 exit…

All face preliminary charges of dealing cocaine, a Class A felony, and possession of cocaine, a Class C felony.

According to sheriff’s department spokesman Capt. Brett Clark, Deputy Lindsay Shaw pulled over an eastbound semi-truck with no license plate. Deputies found more than 18 pounds of cocaine and $5,500 in cash…
